Slam Dunk Festival 2015 - South (DON BROCO)

Being from Bedford, I have always had a soft spot for DON BROCO, but they have also created some of the best music that I have ever heard.

Their album 'Priorities' is one of my favourite albums to date, so I was extremely excited when I heard that they were playing at SD15.
Being near the front was an absolute pleasure, and they really knew how to work the crowd, so everyone around us was enjoying themselves immensely; getting the crowd pumped for Taking Back Sunday, who warmed up for You Me At Six.

Straight away, they came out with 'Money, Power, Fame', a snippet from their new album, 'Automatic', which is going to be released this summer. This was accompanied by 'Automatic' and 'Superlove', all from their new album that they have recently released, which has made me extremely excited for the new record; it's not usual that artists release songs before their album and I end up enjoying every single song!
The classics from 'Priorities' were present, like 'Whole Truth', 'Priorities' and 'Hold On', not to mention they played 'Thug Workout' which sent the crowd in to a frenzy. To be honest, this was the first time that I had heard the song, however after hearing it live it's recently become one of my most listened to tracks.

The set was finished with 'You Wanna Know' and, although it was a short set, each song was unmissable. To see Rob Damiani jump around on stage to each song in a colourful block pattern shirt and extremely tight trousers was such a blessing, and to hear some of my most favourite songs performed live for the first time made me extremely happy. I am going to see them again later on in the summer at their 'Automatic' tour, so look out for an update soon!
